Hi there! My name is Katie.

A 40-something mum navigating the whole parenting conundrum with 3 small children in tow. In my former life in the UK I had a successful career as a Specialist Children’s Nurse and Health Visitor (Family and Public Health Nurse) for over 15 years, so have all the theories down. However, implementing said theory is a whole other story because apparently, my children haven’t read the same books!!!

What I realise amongst the chaos of raising my own children is how much I loved the weaning stage. It was fun and exciting….. Yes really! The experimenting, the enjoyment, the transition from having a newborn baby to a sitting, smiling, eating baby… all of it! When talking to fellow Mums though I found that it is an area that many really struggle with, finding it a stressful process. So I decided to use my practical and theoretical experience to support other Mums as they wean their babies to solid foods in a simple, fun and enjoyable way to create a long-lasting positive relationship with food for the whole family.

As a busy Mum, I don’t have the time for fuss or complicated, and I assume you don’t either! So I offer a simple, straightforward, practical approach to weaning your baby effectively and safely. Weaning should be fun for both baby and you.
